Gratuitous Nats Posting (TM)
I didn't want to say anything at the time for fear of laying on a hex, but congrats to the Nats for their eight game winning streak this past week, and for winning the past three series in a row (including a sweep of the Cards). Here we are now in the fourth week of June and the Nats are tied with the Mets for third place. Who'd a thunk it?
It's all starting to come together, now. Play-off contention is probably still something of a reach this year, but stand by: The future is looking mighty exciting.
