MAYBE MINK MONICA WAS RIGHT

. . . when she opined that wheat beer was for girls who don't like beer. Mrs. LMC is not a brew fan but remarked last night that she liked the wheat beer she bought for me earlier this week. I almost fell out of my chair.

It's actually a riff on my usual theorem, "White Zinfandel is wine for people who don't like wine." But I'm glad to know my latest bloviation has some supporting evidence.

White Zin reminds me of a piece on how to judge a gal by what she drinks--e.g., beer: level-headed, dependable; bourbon: she makes the moves; shots: wants to get naked and fast, etc. The soundbite on White Zin: "treat her like she is smarter than she really is."
