Random Commuter Observation (TM) - "Le Gasp, Le Pant. Le HEAVE" Division

Another beastly, beastly day in Your Nation's Capital, after a beastly, beastly weekend.

There's a pretty good chance of thunderstorms later on today. I didn't bother bringing an umbrella along with me this morning. Frankly, if I get rained on I really won't mind it very much.

Thing is, they have to be the thunderstorms that bring a cool front with them, and lower the temps to a frosty 84 instead of 94. These insolent t-storms aren't even doing that. Pheh.

If the humidity is high enough, you won't even notice a difference when it actually starts to rain.

It's a balmy 79 degrees here (finally), with highs in the seventies (LOW seventies tomorrow) for most of the rest of the week. But we've had the hot and humid over the last four days - along with thunderstorms aplenty that only bring more humid conditions. Nice to be out of that cycle. Hope yours breaks soon.

You'll actually be drier with the rain.

It's this time of year that I remember why I love living out west. 80 degrees out, not a drop of humidity. Step into the shade and the temp drops a good 10 degrees.
