Today My Name Is Robbo O'Llama

I accidentally picked out a green tie this morning, completely forgetting what day it is.

Now I'm being subjected to all sorts of comments about the wearing o' the green for St. Paddy, and my protests of innocence are being met with flat disbelief. And it's near useless to point out that Scots and Irishmen really dislike being mistaken for each other.

Oh, well. May as well go with the flow and have a couple pints o' Guinness at lunch.

I'm wearing gray today and not green. I'm English, Scottish and Welsh- nary a bit o'Irish. That mix is bad enough, I already hate myself and want to drive bits of me to the sea.

Got a twelve pack o' Guinness chilling in the fridge now -- for the evening.

And while we'll be hearing bagpipes today, it takes a Scotsman to play them right.

Oh and congrats to the Nats for finally getting a pair . . . of wins.

Granddaughter # 7 requested in-car musick on the way to school this morning, her favorite rag time,
"Scotch O'Joplin."

I'm wearing green socks. I feel that I need to do something since I married into the green.

And there's corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot for dinner tonight.
