Random Commuter Observation
Surely the first Monday of Daylight Savings Time is one of the most wretched mornings of the year, especially when it's pouring rain.
On the other hand, I spotted a bumper sticker today that read, "W.W.S.D - What Would Scooby Doo?"
Probably an old one, but I hadn't seen it before and it made me smile.

And yes, this is one of the most wretched mornings of the year. Had to hit the snooze bar for 1/2 hour.
Grumble.
Posted by: rbj at March 15, 2010 08:33 AMI heard on tv news this morning that the Monday after DST begins usually sees a statistically significant spike in heart attacks, and the stock market generally sees declines for a few days due to mistakes by sleep-deprived traders.
Clearly, the best solution is to eliminate the "spring forward" aspect of DST (however, I'd like to hang on to "fall back" - love that extra hour of sleep!).
