Random Commuter Observation

I've seen a car once or twice over the past week with personalized tags reading "FEMAILD".

I have yet to figure out what this is supposed to mean. The only explanations that come to mind are:

A. A lady mail-carrier (although surely that would be "FEMAILR").

B. A transsexual who can't spell.

C. A mail-order bride.

None of these seems especially plausible, but I'm stumped otherwise.

The world wonders.

Could it be something FEMA related. Like someone who relocated from New Orleans and was somehow FEMA'ed?

Along the same lines, a FEMA worker in the Illinois division (heaven knows Illinois has given us a federal emergency to manage).

Wouldn't a relocated Noo Awliner (?) go with "BLWNAWY"?

Years ago I saw a car with the tag "IAMGOD". The Big Guy lives in Las Vegas and drives a white caddy it seems.

Maybe the "D" stands for "Democrat"? This is NoVA, you know...

My fave license plate around here is MO FAUX, which got past the ladies in Richmond who are supposed to screen out that sort of thing.

Maybe it's a pagan/Wicca type and the plate is supposed to read as familiar (spirit).
