Random Commuter Observation
I simply cannot recall a more glorious first week of September here in Your Nation's Capital - cool, even crisp in the morning and pleasant all day long. We're at least two weeks ahead of where we ought to be in terms of early fall weather.
Must be global warming or sumpfin.

(Loons spend most of the year on inland lakes and ponds but migrate to coastal waters when fresh water begins to freeze.) Maybe they know something we don't. Almanac says cold wintah comin".
