I find it ironic that The One, with arguably the most pro-abortion record in modern politics, delivering an address at a university named for Our Lady.
From the CNN reports, it seems the President was arguing for common ground on abortion. President Obama's record does not suggest any compromise on aborton.
And, apparently someone didn't tell the President, Holy Mother Church's position isn't up for compromise.
It seems this is one issue Obama can't smooth talk his way through and the Catholic Bishops has finally found some spine.
