"There's never been a U.S. representative at this competition."

That really makes me proud to be an American.

OK. Here's my day from 4:00 AM - 9:00 AM most days:

I get up and surf for exactly one cup of coffee, then I spend ninety minutes playing mode forms to a metronome through a second cup of coffee, and then I take a one cup break and surf a little more. Finally, I switch to Diet Dr. Pepper and play through my set, which takes two and a half hours, and then I begin my day of reality... errands and whatnot.

I'm an idiot. All these years of dedicated practicing and I could have been faking it the whole time.

I especially liked to hear an "Air Guitar Performance Artist" *rolleyes* talking about "keeping it real."

Puh-frackin'-leaze.

I look forward to the Apocalypse more and more every day.

Is there an age limit? Because my 4 year old does a kicken' air guitar to Laurie Berkner and Sheryl Crow.
