Random Commuter Observation

MESSAGE TO TOURONS: It's a sidewalk. Side-walk! NOT side-block! Get the hell out of the way.

That is all.

Much like seeing the first tulips or hearing the chirping of the robins, you know it's springtime when Rob starts bitching about the tourists.

Hey, you'd gawk too if you saw a llama wandering around DC.

Gosh I'm glad I don't work downtown anymore.

How about the people that get of the escalator and stop....one of my pet peeves.

Ugh, the escalators. Don't EVEN get me started about the jam at the turnstile to get out of the Metro. Thankfully my office is a few blocks off the standard routes taken by the bulk of the tourists. Of course the place is crawling with snowcows. Don't know which is worse.

You know Robert - My husband and I are coming down to DC on the weekend of May 4th to attend the Milblog convention and, you have actually made me uncomfortable.
May I apologize in advance for any transgressions we might commit against the daily bureaucrats in OUR nation's capital? We will be there over TWO WHOLE work days. May I also apologize for sullying YOUR territory with our presence? So sorry that we desire to visit the Capitol of our nation (getting in YOUR way in the process).
