Timeline

was on the Sci-Fi channel this weekend. I missed it in the theater but it saw it on cable while at Fort Bragg over the weekend. The movie did a decent job of following the book and Frances O'Connor and Anna Friel were easy on the eyes.

The problem with time travel (if it's allowed at all) is that the past you end up in isn't YOUR past, exactly. If it was, you wouldn't be there, because you WEREN'T there. If you follow that.

So any changes you cause would be changes to some other you's universe.

Don't tell me!! Don't tell me!! Husband taped it and I haven't had the chance to watch it yet!

I remember reading the book, and thinking "Man, what an awful movie this would make."

Which is how all Crichton's books read to me. They're B movie pitches.

Speaking of Frances O'Connor (yum yum), did you catch her in "The Importance of Being Ernest"?

Very nice. She gets "Ernest" tattooed on her, um, "nether regions"...

With Judy Dench (aka "M") as Lady Shrapnell, or whatever the name is.
