They can't seem to get any forward momentum or acceptable ideas for creating a 9/11 memorial at Ground Zero, but in small communities all over New Jersey, touching 9/11 memorials have been up for years.

Where there is a will, there is a way has never seemed truer. The "Angel in Anguish" and the memorial/story about the husband/wife/unborn child moved me to tears.
The 9/11 tragedy is one of the events that has permanently left a scar in my life - I remember events of that day: where I was, how I heard, who I was with. The groups of people who gathered all across our community in prayer and grief circles. I remember putting money in local fireman's boots as they stood out in the street collecting to send help up to the firefighters' families who had experienced loss. And I remember vividly how quiet the skies over my neighborhood were and how odd it seemed that first day they let a jet take off from the local airport.
Thanks for posting this Chai. I needed to know that SOMEWHERE somebody was doing something to help the healing on.
