Nerd Alert!

Can I just make an observation here that in my humble opinion Chris Muir, author of the excellent Day By Day, gets an enormous kick out of drawing babes in tight and/or semi-concealing clothes? And that this kick seems to be getting, er, bigger over time?

He may deny it, but he can't fool me. I used to draw cartoon strips back in school and I know what goes on inside these guys' heads.

At least he's not drawing them with muffin tops! If I see one more overweight girl/woman in low rise jeans and a cropped top with her gut hanging out, I'm going to scream. Can someone please explain to me why overweight people insist on wearing tight and revealing clothes???

I do lean pretty libertarian on the spectrum, but I am not against the registration and licensing of spandex.

As for Mr. Muir's artistic view vis-a-vis drawing women, more power to him.

Chris and I have had a few discussions about this. I am a female and I find myself, umm, "noticing" the females he draws.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that anyone who runs Muir's daily strip on their site is really just a dirty old man.

You know. In a good way. (If there is such a thing).
