Want to Condense Your Lenten Penance and Your Easter Celebration Into One Package?
Try getting tagged to usher the 9:00 AM service on Easter Sunday.
I'm dreading it.
Posted by Robert at April 13, 2006 09:02 AM | TrackBackAt least it's not the sunrise service. And you don't have to work the nursery!!
Posted by: GroovyVic at April 13, 2006 09:49 AMExcept that for Episcopalians, "sunrise" means 7:30, which is doable. Also, the place will be filled to the rafters with the Christmas and Easter crowd, most of whom will be so clueless that I may as well be working the toddler room.
Not that I'm cranky about it at all....
Posted by: Robbo the LB at April 13, 2006 09:54 AMTry singing in the choir for 4 services - one Saturday night and three Sunday morning. Call time Sat AM is 7am. The last service will end at about 12:45pm.
Long morning...
Posted by: jen at April 13, 2006 10:06 AMYes, I feel for you. I hope you and Beau have been practicing hand signals, because you'll probably need them by the time you're done.
Posted by: Robbo the LB at April 13, 2006 11:19 AMAhh, Sunday. My one day to sleep in.
Snicker.
Hah!
Posted by: OregonGuy at April 13, 2006 12:51 PMAh, Beau has parking lot duty on Sunday. We may not see each other after we part at the doors upon arrival until it's all over.
Posted by: jen at April 13, 2006 01:25 PMHey! You're the one that wanted to be on the board of the church, and now you're bitchin about it. Count yourself lucky your're not working the garage sale!
Posted by: Babs at April 13, 2006 05:03 PMMan, I enjoyed Seder the other night. Lots of reading before the eating...but an enjoyable tradition.
Did I mention Seder does not involve getting up at the crack of dawn?
