I'm betting on Massengale buying the rights

The Nirvana songbook for sale by the "ex" junkie widow.

Maybe she can do a "duets" album with Whitney Houston, starting with "Luck be a Lady."

SPEAKING OF SELLING OUT: My wholesome campaign to turn Cake Eater Chronicles into the "all Beaches, all the time" blog has been corporatized and commercialized. The bastards! I don't even get a cut!

Hey, maybe Apple Corps can buy it...poor old Ringo is gonna need some pocket money once Disney's largest shareholder, Apple Computer chief, and all-around scary-like-Manson hippie Steve Jobs gets through with them for ruining his iPod greed orgy with their effin' bozo lawsuit.

Hey, no one said you wouldn't get a cut, but we had to move on this opportunity. This is Bubble 2.0 baby! Internet time! Ready, Fire, Aim! Gotta ship that product! Let marketing deal with the bugs; discounts for version 1.1 'upgrades'!

(We'll discuss your vesting schedules later.)

Let's see
1) Apparently Paul McCartney didn't like Phil Ramone's orchestrations on Let It Be -- hence the new-esque Let It Be - Naked (a very good redoing, BTW). And Phil is now on trial for murdering Lana Clarkson.

2) Who beat out Paul for the rights to the Beatles' catalog? Michael Jackson.

Conclusion: Don't get on Paul McCartney's bad side. Pep, I would bet on Apple records; next thing you know Steve Jobs will be found in bed with Mickey.

With Mickey, or just Mickey's severed head?

Either way, that's something I'd pay to have happen. Heh.
