I can't believe it. Don Knott's is freaking dead??? That's it, I'm opening up more wine and going to rent The Private Eyes. (I'll never forget my dad taking my sister and I to see this movie the day my mom was checked into the hospital for surgery. Also, oddly the day Ronald Reagan was shot.)

...which was my 10th birthday, so I remember that day also. And I loved that movie growing up. Hilda is dead, and here's something to note...

First Barney, then Karl. Two actors I enjoyed immensely. They both had wonderful comedic timing, and will be missed. RIP Don and Darren.

The world doesn't seem quite as safe without Barney Fife on duty.
