One of those rare moments when Oliver Willis and I are on the same cloud nine
except one of us isn't eating a triple chili-cheeez dog with a yoo-hoo chaser.
Signs of end times for sure.
I loved those sports writers that said Joe Gibbs couldn't compete in the new era. That's why they are writing about it and he is coaching.
And don't forget the sad Payton face. No undefeated season. He might as well get used to the feeling. Superbowl is still through the Pats...
I'll take your triple chili-cheeez dog if you don't want it.
Posted by: The Unabrewer at December 19, 2005 01:30 AMDamn. As a Giants fan, I was hoping the Cowboys would help put some more daylight between NY & WA. (And no, I don't feel clean about wanting Dallas to win.)
Posted by: rbj at December 19, 2005 08:24 AMSad Peyton........my "weeping Elvis" statue shed tears of blood over that.
Posted by: Steve the LLamabutcher at December 19, 2005 09:40 AMI think I may owe you and your Cousin O each a Filet of Fish, based on my earlier prediction of a 7-9 "at best" Redskins season.
That being said, we'll see if they can make the playoffs. LB Buddy and I will be waiting as we knock back a few with Bob Kraft at The Razor . . .
Posted by: The Colossus at December 19, 2005 10:05 AMYeah me and BK are tight. I used to live near the old Gillette plant in Southie, so he must know me. I am pretty sure he knows me. I saw him on TV. I'll give him a call.
