You got several of my votes, too. Looking at the results cross-category, apparently that's the kiss of death for the Webbies.

I'm feeling more like Utron than like Colossus right now. I find it depressing and would like to see a few remedies to the categories like cutting out left/right rivalries - everyone knows that the young and techno-hip are all liberals, making it a no-brainer over who's going to win any given category. Not to mention a plain review of traffic and alliances - Jesus' General with 17 thousand votes, fer crying out loud, more than any other category combined!
I'll tell myself that you can laugh all the way to the bank, although if JG and the like get the picture of the kind of support they have, they'll be trotting out the cafe press goods quicker than you can say "webbie award winner."
