Gratuitous Twenty-Five Or -Six To Four Posting

Okay, folks, as we're just about 200 shy of the 1.5 mil hits mark, I'm going to try and put us over the line with this throw-down revelation:

This weekend I was getting a hair-cut. The salon's (yes, salon's, dammit) PA system was playing some Chicago. As I tapped my toes, I found myself thinking: Don't care much about the lyrics one way or the other, but I like that sound. Always have. Maybe I'll even go buy one of their best-of albums.

There. Got a problem with that?

First, you need to get to a barber, STAT! A manly man barber shop.

Second, I too enjoy me some Chicago, but not that 80's "hard habit to break" bilge. We were listening to a doubleshot on the way home, at which point Husband made me change the station.

I used to have a Medal of Honor winner as my barber.
He had a real bad day in Korea....
He worried about getting a good room at a veterans convention.

A real man does NOT go to a salon.

I like Chicago, a good general rule with them, though, is "the earlier the better".

Ahhh, Chicago! Memories of 1970, a Triumph TR-4A with the ragtop down, the brass of Chicago blasting from the 8-track, draft notice in hand, with a 25 or 6 to 4 kind of feeling. The writer said the song was about writing song lyrics:
