'Nuther Show Of Hands, Please

Who else around here gets a case of the creeps when they hear the expression "Government economic stimulus package"?

HRC- it has to aimed at the middle class. Reminds me of W defining the difference between his approach and Algore's "I want to give you back more of your own money, he wants to spend it on your behalf..."

HRC and Obama's packages remind me of Bill Clinton's stimulus package that passed without a Republican vote in either house....

You mean the constant drumbeat for tax cuts for the rich so the can trickle down on us?

I mean tax cuts for everyone (and yes, that means 'the rich' however you want to define it).

However, for those out there that feel you are undertaxed, excess contributions are gratefully accepted by the Treasury.

If I saw that phrase on an email, I'd delete it as spam. Sounds like it should come in a plain brown wrapper.

Yes, it's always a "nude erection" for government, aimed at the a$$es of people who actually make money.

Rather than having the government spend my money to collect my money and then spend more of my money to rebate my money back to me, I'd rather they just didn't take so much to begin with.

The first thing that came to mind was JFK for some reason, but Clinton works well too. The 'economic' is clearly worked in there for distractive qualities.
