Uggh. screw the brave new world, matey

I've spent the morning dicking around on my facebook page, trying to set up a page for my courses for the spring term. If anyone has any suggestions on how to add applications to a group page I'd appreciate any insights. Thanks.
(What I'm trying to do is be able to post document attachments, either pdfs or .doc files, as well as urls etc with a minimum of rooting stuff back to my regular page).

You can't add applications to groups on Facebook, because "groups" IS an application. It's buried in their help, somewhere.

You want to start a "page" for your class. There are two types of main page types on Facebook now (since late last year): "pages" and "profiles." Individuals have "profiles" while bands, famous people, brands, companies, etc have "pages."

You can add applications to "pages" (although not every app has been modified to support pages).

Your school needs to start using D2L for courses. The interface looks like something from 1994, but it works.
