I like the secret weapon they used to score many of those runs . . . drawing a walk. I almost felt like Colorado's pitching staff thinks they're somehow entitled to have batters swing at bad pitches, and were surprised when the Red Sox simply said "no thanks, I'll take a bases loaded base on balls" for three straight runs.

It is about being disciplined enough not to make outs. Last night, the Red Sox offense was and the Rockies offense wasn't.

I like SGL's nickname for Beckett, too -- "Commander KickAss of the F--k yeah brigade." He has been fantastic. We'll see how the Baconator performs tonight.

Jeez, looks like Lou got some good seats. Last night was great, but tonight could be tougher. One pitch at a time...
