I tell ya, those Moonbat friends are good to keep around

Because occasionally they toss you a bone like this:

But don't mess with the 'tube version: go here, click on the widest your screen can accomodate, turn the sound all the way up, and bathe in the awesomeness.

All I can say is via con deos, Scott Peterson, you magnificent bastard!

Robert Downey Jr. as the next action sooper hero?

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

...that would be him sniffy glue, methinks.

I'm with you on the casting. Given the stuff this guy's snorted, guzzled, freebased, etc, I'm surprised he isn't riding off to battle on Puff the Magic Dragon. And I don't mean the old nickname for the AC-130.

If you can find the clip from when they showed this (and a little more) at ComicCon, you might like it. The video keeps getting yanked from all of the sites where it was.... Most of the trailer, some other stuff, a few bloopers,...

Took a long-ass time to load, but the full widescreen view on my 23" Cinema HD display was awesome, and the sound through my Bryston 3B and Tannoy studio monitors... well, you lesser mortals will just have to imagine.

Now, down to earth: Trailer was fabulous, but that doesn't mean the movie will be. We may have already seen the best of it. OTOH, this could be a DVD I watch regularly if the trailer is only a taste.

In about eight months we'll know.

(in my best Mike Judge "Butthead" voice)

Whoa! That was...cool.

A side geeky note: there was a long running storyline with Tony Stark/Iron Man being alcoholic. Robert Downey Jr could be a really interesting choice, if there's a sequel or two.

On the other hand, will this turn into another "The Warmongering US is Bad" movie like the last Bourne movie?
