Oh Suhweet Jaysus!
The show "24" just signed Janeane Garafolo for Season Seven.
Garofalo will play a government agent who is part of the team investigating the crisis befalling Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and company in the upcoming season.I don't know if I can stomach this. Unless her character acts as a politically-correct bureaucratic foil for Jack Bauer's efforts to save the country, I don't see this working.
I can see the chewed up water skis floating in the water now. Sheesh.

Even as we speak, 24 writers are trying to figure out how to work in the line: It's ok to love your PDA, it's just not ok to love your PDA.
Guess it's time to find a new show for Monday nights in January.

Several people have attempted to explain exactly why 24 is such a great show. All I can say is I guess you have to be there.
I am sure Ms. Garafolo will make as much sense as any of the other characters.

Would she be that obtuse? I dunno.
That being said, even in that scenario it would be hard to watch her.
