Bottom News Story

from ABC. Americans emigrated to Canada in 2006, all 10,942 of them. Of course, one has to dig down four paragraphs to learn that 23,913 Canadians emigrated to the United States in the same year. Nowhere is it mentioned that Canada's population is estimated at slightly less than 33 million while the United States has about 302 million residents.

Yes, but if we're sending them our liberals and they're sending us their conservatives at circa a 1:2 rate, that means the balance is shifting in our favor 1/3 faster than if Canada were only exporting conservatives (Something they have been doing for decades: I'm a Newfie, for example).

Faster, please is the only complaint I have.

Stepdad has diabetes, he'd be taken care of for free if he moved up there. Unless he needs dialysis and he's over 60-65, then he's SOL....

The "taken care of for free" thing just cracks me up every time I read it!
