Gratuitous Musickal Posting

FWIW, I've always thought that Ravel's orchestration of Mussorgsky's "Pictures At An Exhibition" was a better treatment of the music that the original keyboard score. The work has always struck me as being really just too big for the piano.

Just sayin'.

I double-dog dare you to get Kazuhito Yamashita's GUITAR TRANSCRIPTION of "Pictures" and then tell me the music is too big for the piano... or the guitar.

Last time I checked, there was even a YouTube of Yamashita playing Pictures... Wait just a sec... BRB...

Yeah, here it is:

Sound is kind of crappy, but what do you expect for vintage 1980's video? Get the CD with that and Stravinsky's Firebird. If it doesn't freak you out, you are already dead.
