Die Hard IV: So Die, Already

The trailor, lifted from Ace:

As a matter of fact, my favorite of the series has always been DH3, which I try to catch whenever it pops up on cable, primarily because I like the way Willis and Samuel L. Jackson work together. (Well, okay, it's really because I like the way Samuel L. Jackson works.) I also enjoy poor old Jeremy Irons, now forever trapped as a type-cast psycho villain in Hollywood, with his "keep zee bottle" renegade kraut shtick.

Jeremy Irons was also great as Klaus von Bulow in Reversal of Fortune. I periodically mutter his famous "What do you give the woman who has everything? Two shots of insulin!" line in his creepy Teutonic accent, when I am cut off in traffic by a woman driving a BMW or the like.

He also starred as both psychotic twins in "Dead Ringers", a Cronenborg film that ranks up there with the creepiest movies ever made. Seriously.

Observation:
1) we just saw the best parts of the film in the trailer and it's a total rip-off of "24"

or

2)this is a taste of what this movie brings and it will be awesome.

personally, I'm hoping for the latter and expecting the former.

I love the Die Hard movies and can't wait to see this one, too. Especially since it includes Mac-boy, Warren Cheswick.

Irons also played a great supporting role in Elizabeth I as the Earl of Leicester, totally German accent-free.

I've enjoyed all of the Diehard movies, so I'm sure I'll like this one too. Bruce is not a leftard, BTW.

Well yes, in the way that 24 is a total rip off of the original DH movies.
