"There's no place like home"

I'll never forget the sight of Mrs. LMC and the Future Four Year ROTC Scholarship Recipient at the airport on Thursday or the sight of the post headquarters decorated for Christmas (located, of course, amidst the vast real estate holdings which comprise Fort LMC). My predeployment training is finished and yours truly is on leave until early January when I'll return for the start of that all-inclusive travel package to the cradle of civilization. With a little luck, I will be able to post every now and then from Forward Operating Base LMC. Many thanks to all who have expressed their support for my soldiers and our families.
