On The Interpretation Of Dreams
I had an amazingly vivid and convoluted dream last night that involved, among other things, a thunderstorm, a return to the house in which I grew up in Texas, a biodome full of genetically modified crops and also some activities which I don't care to repeat on a family blog. The craziest part of it, however, had to be watching the former associate rector of my church debate Malcolm Reynolds on subjects of theology - and losing.
Dunno what all this means except that I think maybe I'm putting too much garlic in my omlettes.

Garlic?
So that's what they're calling it these days?
You want to sleep with your mother. Maybe your father too.
Posted by: LB Buddy at December 1, 2006 01:29 PMI've been having insanely vivid dreams lately, the most vivid in my life. The other night, I dreamt that I killed William Shatner. And when a friend discovered my crime and confronted me, I killed her too to cover it up. Terribly upset and remorseful about what I'd done, I confessed tearfully to my parents, "I'm a serial killer! A serial killer!"
But then, on a whim, I called the phone of the friend that I'd killed, and she answered! So it turns out, I'd simply dreamed that I'd killed her. I was very relieved.
Even though Shatner was, in fact, still dead by my hand.
After a bit of this dream, I woke suddenly, sat bolt upright, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster as my witness said, aloud, "I haven't seen anything that artsy-fartsy since Andy Warhol ate his last bean burrito!"
Bizarre.
