Dr. 'Oo

I caught an episode of Dr. Who on SciFi last evening just for the hell of it. I used to watch this show quite a bit when I was younger, back in the days of Tom Baker and then Peter Davidson.

Well the times, they seem to have changed, because this doctor looked more like a soccer hooligan than anything else. Indeed, if it weren't for the scary flying monster thingies, I'd have thought I was watching EastEnders instead.

I like this doctor, honestly, maybe because he does look like a soccer hooligan - who knows. But I also have never spent time with any of the previous incarnations, so I'm not biased in anyone else's favor.

Does that mean you didn't like it?

*sigh*

Oh, for the days of Tom Baker... Actually, I also liked Sylvester McCoy, but lost track of the series soon after he started his (very short) stint as the Doctor.

I wonder if there is a comprehensive collection on DVD....?

Soccer hooligan...hmmm. One does suppose that "smokin' hot" is in the eye of the beholder. Ahem.
