Let Us Now Praise Famous Cloves

Have I mentioned before how much I love garlic? With the possible exception of jell-o, is there a single dish on the planet that isn't enhanced by the addition of a couple of cloves? My friends, I would use garlic-flavored toothpaste if it was socially acceptable.

Yup, I consider garlic one of the big three, the three ingredients that between them, can improve any dish in the world:

1. Garlic
2. Chocolate
3. Bacon

Wow. Are you having a boring day at the office?

And let's not forget that garlic keeps vampires away. Seen any vampires at the Olympic games in Turin?

As a mater of fact....

Pretty much the way I feel about BACON.

Bacon is our friend, too. But it won't stop vampires. Unless they're keeping kosher.

I mention bacon, nobody says a thing.

Bobgirrl mentions bacon, and she gets recognized.

I see how it is.

I love garlic, but I'd rather not have it on my doughnuts. Or my cheesecake. Thank you very much.

If I don't have garlic, chili powder and grated Parmesan cheese on hand, I can't cook (well, at least the wife's been buying that line, anyhoo...)

go to the Gilroy, CA galic fetival.... even the ice cream is garlic-flavored, and quite good.

Ummm... I'm willing to bet that BACON would stop a vampire if you fashioned it into a cross!!

Oh, and Brian, I think you get recognized more often if you proclaim to not wear underwear.

I doubt it's the same kind attention YOU'D get if you made that proclamation, but since you mention it, I do own a kilt....
