Freedom of speech: use it or lose it

This has got everyone's shorts in a twist?

Good thing they never saw that movie where Richard Pryor was God, giving man the finger....

I mean, sure, if some of them involved underage goats or Kayne West (or underage goats AND Kayne West), but puh-leeze.

I tried to engage in debate ont the Secret Arabian Blob regarding the cartoons. I tried to present the concept that it was much more blasphemous to their religion to allow people to become human bombs, for Imams to preach incitement to violence and to call other humans monkey and pigs, and to blow up women and children (no matter their religion)....
I was met with deaf ears. The Islamic protagonist latched on to my inaccurate number of people living on the planet and just continued to ridicule me.
I have concluded that the "silent majority" of followers of Islam are perfectly happy with the world situation today.

The Glory Brigade should go down. And bring Dr. Dobson with them...

Dobson's a jackass, but I don't seem to recall him inciting actual violence perpetuated randomly on people here because their views disagree with his. I realize in Mooreworld (Mike, not Thomas) all people with faith a little less hazy than the Unitarians are advocates of AmeriKKKan Talibanism, but it's just not reality. There's the occasional nutjob (like the what the heck was his name Eric Rudolph?) but I'd say their tally is about the same as the ELFnuts, and certainly not with an astronomical unit of the anti-Danish stuff being whipped up right now.

Dobson's a jackass, and so is Falwell, but it's an insult to relativism to say they are at all similar to what's going on over there.

How about Buchanan? Called for the assassination of a head of state (on his own cable channel).

My point wasn't Dobson=The Glory Brigade, but that any extremism masquerading as religiosity is despicable and we have problems with it here in the US as well, it just isn’t the Muslims.
And while I don't speak for all in Mooreland, go ahead and worship whatever you want (including the Flying Spaghetti Monster) just don't force me to listen to it.

Death to he who denigrates the flying spaghetti monster! Infidel!

I was just including my own religion into the mix...
