I can just imagine the bewilderment that Mme. Theuriau would feel if she ever surfed the web and encountered these pictures, where strangely anthropomorphic creatures express their love for her -- or more correctly, where she is expressing her love for them. Weird.

Fortunately, she's probably got better things to do, and is blissfully unaware of the uses to which her pictures are being put.
