Further evidence that Al is in an alternative universe. During Clinton's administration, Algore, in one of his television interviews, referred to the state of the Republic during Bush the Elder's administration as a "danger to our democracy". This was George the "kinder and gentler" Bush, who now pals around with Al's former boss.

Obviously, only Algore (not John Kerry or Hillary Clinton, and certainly not any Republican), can halt the Republic's slide into the darkness of Algore's imagination. I think Al should run for President again, and the nominating convention should feature Howard "Scream" Dean performing dramatic reading of "Earth in The Balance".

Hey, never forget that Al Gore invented the internet. I thank him daily for that.

Oh well, the down side to free speech is that even an idiot has the right to speak.
