Gratuitous Domestic Posting (TM)

Overheard in the kitchen this afternoon as the Missus was putting the seven year old's hair into pigtails:

Llama-ette: "Ow! Oooooow!! Moo-oom, you're killing me!"

Missus: "Not yet."

Heh, indeed. Think we're ready for Christmas break to be over?

Gosh that brings back memories...and it eventually led to mom cutting off my waistlength hair into something that looked like a boy's bowl cut. Thereafter when I grew my hair back out I settled for whatever styles I could manage on my own lest we have a repeat of the situation.

Thanks to the wonders of DVD and small children, I've seen "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" and "Frosty the Snowman" more in the past two weeks than in the previous forty years combined. If I see either Rudolph or Frosty any more, I'm going to bleed out through my ears...
