But the cruel irony is that in beating the Colts and preserving the 72 'phin's record, San Diego killed Miami's hope for a wild card spot.

Yes, but that doesn't bother me. The 'Fins had no business making the playoffs this year. Had they managed to get in, they probably would have been humiliated. Just as well to let it go.
