Most guys understand it is a necessary evil to run a comb through one's hair to ensure he will pass inspection with his mother (if under the age of 17)/wife/boss/drill sergeant. It is quite another to relish in it like, well, a high school cheerleader who thinks she's a lock to be elected the Homecoming Queen.
