Here's a quick question

Kerry, as predicted, is trying to jump on the Sox Bandwagon in ridiculous fashion.

The question is, how many Cardinals fans are there in Missouri, Colorado, Wisconisn, and Iowa? And let's face it: the "Red Sox Nation" crap is primarily a blue state phenomena.

To a lot of fans, the Red Soxs are now just another team like the Yankees, Diamondbacks and Marlins who've successfully bought themselves a World Series win. By throwing away the so-called curse, last night they threw away the one thing that distinguished them from 29 other teams. In ten years they will join the ranks of teams like the A's, Angels, Twins, Blue Jays and Atlanta as former Series winners for which no one has any great love or hate.

(And let's not forget that this was the team which back in April was supposed to run away with the division. Instead they had to have the West Division teams beat each other up so that Boston could get the wild-card by default.)
