YOUNGER, SMARTER, AND BETTER LOOKING

THE GALS OF FOX & FRIENDS: Beat that pack of aging nags on NBC with a stick. I admit it, I have a dirty little secret. I used to watch the “Today” show and might have even had a thing for Ann Curry. However, the product of that unholy union between Hillary Clinton and Kim Gandy, i.e., Katie Couric, just got on my nerves too much. I tried looking at the bright side but the Parade of the White Breads (Claire Shipment, Jodie Applegate, et al) was too much. Soledad O’Brien helped out for a while but bailed.

I would love to see E.D. Hill a/k/a the Fox Goddess of Fertility, taking on that overpaid and over-rated Perky Katie. I would pay serious money to see Keran Chetry take on Jodie Applegate, especially since Keran attended a costume party dressed as Tomb Raider Lara Croft, right down to the spandex and the pistols. Ann Curry would not last two minutes up against Lauren Green.

E.D. wouldn't fit in with any other gang than the one she's with - today she even agreed that children should be spanked. I was sort of shocked but then lots of things she says shocks me. I watch Fox and Friends, too, even though I don't really like it much but anything else is worse. You should have heard them put down Dan Rather today; they were brutal.

Hmmmmmm....Ann Curry :)

Ann Curry and Soledad O'Brien on Fox News. /drool

Throw in the leggy legal commentator from CNN that was/is married to the mayor of San Francisco and I'd stop working through the morning news and just eat my oatmeal enthralled for three hours.

ED is very much an acquired taste, a taste some never acquire. She pioneered the job she's in now at Fox; one wonders how long she will hold the job, what with Juliet Huddy waiting in the wings.

The show is at least entertaining; they are not as insufferably condescending as Katie, Matt and co. One also wonders how long the ageless Diane Sawyer will hang in there on the other network.

Fox has a deep bench, too, as Fox and Friends Weekend has good hosts, also; I would expect that if the networks wanted to recruit morning hosts, they'd do a raid.
