Random Commuter Observations

An elderly lady was stationed outside my metro stop this morning explaining that 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina were both the work of Satan's Army, currently under the field command of Dick Cheney.

Hope this clears things up for everybody.

I myself thought it had more of a Wolfowitz/Rumsfeld/PNAC feel to it, but I respect the voices in her head.

Over at the Huffington Post, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is blaming it on Haley Barbour. That, or it was Gaia's revenge against Haley Barbour, I'm not sure which. I live in a red state, so nuanced analyses like that frequently sail right over my head.

The poor fool. Doesn't she realize that events are actually controlled by the Bavarian Illuminati working through the Knights Templar and the Freemasons?

Also, isn't Dick Cheney merely the physical projection of a hyper-intellegent pan-dimensional being in this universe?

Wait, that was the last post.

Nope, the Columbia Christians for Life asserts that satellite images of Katrina look just like a six-week-old fetus.

It is God's will that NO be destroyed for its evil ways. Clears up a lot for me...

Was she implying that Dick Cheney is but a mere "lesser demon"? How dare she!?

Overheard in a Capitol Hill-area cafe where I got my lunch today a woman earnestly blaming Halliburton. Clearly...

Wait, I thought this was all a Rovian tactic to take the spotlight off Cindy Jihad in the ditch! It isn't?
