I Still Got Nothing

Sorry, folks. I'm in the midst of my second week of this lungs n' throat n' head thing (which, according to most folks I've talked to, probably still has about another ten days to run). The coughing and hacking are subsiding, but I still feel worn out and achy. And the headache I developed yelling at the kids all afternoon yesterday hasn't gone away yet. None of this is conducive to posting, at least to anything that you would want to read and that I wouldn't wind up regretting later on.

Yelling at the darling angels??? You should be ashamed. Did they plug up their toilet again?

Heh. Actually, I don't know how they ever manage it because none of them can be compelled to flush either.

Sorry to tell you , but the last week or so of that evil bug is horrible. Probably because you start to think you're better, and you end up using too much energy for normal life stuff that you've been avoiding (but, then again, what is this "normal life" thing, anyway?) At the tail-end of the bug, I ended up with a migraine-inducing sinus infection that laid me out for another week. Over a month of feeling like I'd been run over by a Mac Truck.

Get well... hot tea with lemon and honey (probably won't help much except for the comfort food aspect), chicken soup, and TLC. Just my $.02... that's why they call me Dr. Mom !! :-)

My roommate has had it the past couple of weeks and it now on the mend. I have the early symptoms coming on. Many in my office have had this bug and I'm not looking forward to it at all. Joy.
