Maybe I'm just getting old.
But I still think the PI Network would work: 24hrs of nothing but Magnum, Spencer for Hire, Vegas, Hawaii 5-0, Starsky & Hutch, Law & Order, Homicide......

Don't forget: Kojak, Beretta, Colombo, Cannon, Mannix, Kolchak the Night Stalker, Remington Steele, Moonligthing -- let's just say it is a persistent, if not endemic, genre.
Dan Rather, in a trenchcoat and fedora, to host, of course.
Hawaii 5-0, Starsky & Hutch, Law & Order, Homicide, Kojak, Beretta, Colombo would not be on a PI channel. They were all police shows. a Crime Channel woud cover them.
