I hate to say it, but I'll bet Arturo pulls it off. He's canny like that: as a former merchant ship crew member, he can really write one heck of a nautical novel.
I'll be interested to see what's it's all about when it comes out.

I've read nearly everything P-R has written and he's a fun read. I wonder if he'll pull it off this time.
