Gosh, that Jim Webb sure is fitting in with the new mainstream of his new political party. My prediction: give it a day before his "progressive" blogger allies start circulating pshops of George Allen drinking the blood of Palestinian children on Passover.

Because remember: race-baiting and religious slurs on the part of "progressive" candidates are okay, because it's all about overcoming the fascism of George Bush and his Israeli Neo-Con buddies.

Harsh? You be the judge. Here's the top of the flyer that Webb's campaign ran against Harris Miller, who had the temerity to run against Webb in the Democratic primary:

Notice the exagerated nose, the money, and the prominent reference to "the anti-Christ."

Notice the closeup of the Jim Webb character:

Anything odd about a guy wearing a khaki shirt and black pants and boots in such a context? Hmmm....
