I was going claim writer's block this morning, but then I figured I'd open myself up to the "So when have you ever written anything worth while?" line of questioning.

Oh, I'd have starved a long time ago if I were dependent on other folks' views of my writing's worthiness. What's odd is that I can't think of anything that I want to hear myself say.

"at what point do I admit that it isn't the heat but instead just a good, old-fashioned case of writer's block?"
