I wonder what the mullahs would think of Penn's roles in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" or "The Falcon and the Snowman". Or, despite that, did they regard the self-important, budding foreign policy intellectual as a "Useful Idiot"? The mullahs may be stuck in the eighth century, but they're not dumb.
