Harshing their mellow, dude

Lebanon moves one step closer to being freed from the ruthless occupation of Syria, and what are those patriotik klowns at Democratic Underground worried about?

You guessed it.

Scroll, and savor their misery. Oh, the horror!

I'm starting to feel a conflict of interest here. On the one hand, I don't want to give DU any traffic, but their threads are just too entertaining to pass up. And today's Lebanon thread is an especially ripe one.

Speaking of hippies, while I was scrolling through the DUers' comments a line from an old song started running through my head: "This is what it sounds like/ When doves cry."

So free elections are a plot to subvert freedom...

It's beyond even laughing, it makes me want to cry. It really frightens me that so many can reason so poorly.
