Scrape the Bottom Of That Barrel Any Harder, Friends, And You're Gonna Be Diggin' A Hole To China

CNN has got a poll up to determine "the most influential woman in American politics in the past 25 years." Among the contestants...

Geraldine Ferraro.

Are you kidding me? A lousy five names and that's the best they can do to round it out? Puh-lease.....

Either someone is hopelessly blinkered or else they aren't trying very hard.

But that was just an intuitive reaction, mind you....

Farraro was mondales runningmate when he ran for president in 1984 against reagan why not some other woman like NANCY REAGAN i mean leave it to the liberal news media to pick her its a wonder then did,nt sleect hillary clinton or jannet reno

Now, now, you should have instinctively known CNN was referring to Jackass American politics, of course, Ferraro came up...

These people are nuts. CNN, I mean. Granholm and Grasso are/were GOVERNORS, f'chrissake. Of major states. Real power. No Senator, and surely no rep, holds a candle to that. And Gregoire, despite the taint of her disputed election, is also a governor.

This assumes, of course, that you regard the Supremes as not-in-politics.

I left out Whitman. Another governor, major state.
