It Looks As If Karl Stromberg is Looking to Diversify Into Tourism

Grandma Deece pointed out this crazy idea, the Poseidon Undersea Resort, which apparently will be built on the seabed somewhere in the Bahamas.

No word yet on whether you have to wear a uniform jumpsuit or which elevator will spit you into the shark tank.

Mooo-ooom! You're making me look like a dork!

Sigh. Karl Stromberg was a James Bond villain who built a gigantic undersea fortress where he planned to await the destruction of the planet's surface population by nuclear war (caused by himself) and then rule a kingdom of the seas, populating the place with his own select breeding pairs. Needless to say, Bond stops him. It was one of the best of the Roger Moore era flicks.

You will be interested to know that Stromberg was played by Curt Jurgen, who voiced the part of Pasha Selim - and did it well - in an old recording of Mozart's "Abduction" that I used to own. (Can't remember who else was in it.)
