This isn't even all that recent a phenomenon. In my edition of "The Code of the Woosters," the preface mentions a group of Wooster fanatics in Budapest in the 1930s who used to argue about what went into Jeeves' pick-me-ups and re-enacted Drones Club banquets, bread fights and all.
